Diamond cut alloy wheels
Modern wheels are made of aluminium in various colours. Higher quality wheels are often painted on the lower parts and then diamond cut on the raised parts to give them a two-tone look.
There is no doubt that diamond cut alloy wheels add an outstanding aesthetic to your vehicle. Used by many prestige manufacturers, they are now being introduced more and more on mainstream vehicle brands too.
Specialist knowledge
If damaged, however, specialist knowledge and equipment is required to return the alloy to its original condition. This is so that the alloy can be checked for any internal damage and cracking, which would affect safety, before being finished on a specialist machine lathe to reinstate its crisp edges and high shine.
Our vehicle technicians are fully training to use our diamond cutting equipment so that we can offer this highly skilled service at H&L.
The Process
Diamond cutting is the process of using a precision lathe to machine cut the raised parts, giving the razor sharp, shiny finish.
